		<description>I was referring to the files size more than anything. After pulling the AVI files off the camera I convert them into mpeg via quicktime pro and they are a quarter the size with the same quality.</description>

		<description>Are you saying that motion jpeg in a mov container is better than motion jpeg in an avi container? I really don&#039;t think the container has anything to do with it. 

I have the G7 with chdk firmware and have really liked it. However if I were to improve it I&#039;d give it a wide angle lens and make it much smaller. Sort of make it an LX-3. We&#039;ll see if the LX-3 can take pictures without purposely making them resemble a Degas print. I chose the G7 over the LX-1 and LX-2 for that reason.</description>
