Finally a good use for a PC – a photo frame

I have a PC and use it occasionally to test software. I used to play games on it but now that I have an XBox 360 it isn’t worth the trouble to deal with the installation and configuration issues involved in getting games working on my pc.

My PC is now usually off or sitting idol with the screen saver on. Today I glanced over and saw the sample shots panning and zooming across the screen courtesy of the screen saver in Windows Vista. I thought to myself, wow those are nice shots and I remember how cool it was several years ago when Apple did that with their screen saver. But i degrees. Any way basck to our story. So while stock photos are nice I would rather see new pictures from my family and friends instead. So I headed over to grab the Google Pack so I could download the Google Photos Screensaver so I could display shots from rss feeds.
